1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of www.triodrones.co.za and any order placed with Trio Drones (registration 2020/166251/07), a company incorporated in South Africa. By ordering, you confirm you have authority to bind the business you represent and that you accept these terms.
2. Products, pricing and availability
We describe product specifications, payloads and performance as accurately as possible, but performance figures are typical values measured in South African conditions at sea level. Actual results vary with altitude, temperature, payload, wind and battery condition.
Prices, promotions and stock levels may change without notice. If an incorrect price is displayed we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm or cancel the order with a full refund.
3. Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs when we confirm the order by email or dispatch the goods. We may decline orders that fail anti-fraud or export screening, or where stock is unavailable.
4. Your aviation compliance obligations
You are responsible for complying with South African aviation law, including SACAA regulations, the Civil Aviation Act and associated technical standards, and the rules of any other jurisdiction in which you fly. Commercial operations in South Africa require a valid Remote Pilot Licence (RPL) held by the person flying, plus a Registered RPAS Operator Certificate (ROC) held by the operator.
You may not use products purchased from Trio Drones for unlawful surveillance, harassment, weaponisation, drug or contraband delivery, or in restricted airspace without authorisation. We assist with regulatory paperwork but final legal responsibility remains with you.
5. Warranty, returns and risk
Warranty and return rights are set out in our Warranty & Repairs and Return & Refund policies. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes once payment is received in full and cleared.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the affected products. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including crop loss, project delay, loss of data or loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, text, imagery, video, comparative data and trade marks, belongs to Trio Drones or its licensors and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the North West Division of the High Court, or the Magistrates' Court with jurisdiction, for any dispute. We prefer to resolve complaints directly first, email our sales desk and we will respond within five business days.
