1. Accepted payment methods
We accept the following payment methods for orders placed on this website or through our sales desk.
- Visa, Mastercard and American Express, paid on Stripe's secure checkout with 3-D Secure. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our website.
- EFT / bank transfer against a formal tax invoice. Stock is reserved for five business days pending payment, and orders are dispatched once the funds reflect.
- We do not offer finance, lease, lay-by or purchase-order (account) terms.
2. Currency and pricing
All prices are quoted and charged in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT unless explicitly marked otherwise. For SADC export orders, pricing may be quoted EXW Klerksdorp, excluding import duties and clearance fees payable in the destination country.
Where a product is listed with a WAS/compare-at price, the reduction is a genuine reduction from our previous list price.
3. Transaction security
Card data is tokenised by our payment provider; Trio Drones never sees or stores a full card number, CVV or PIN. Our site is served over TLS 1.3 and payment pages are hosted in a PCI-DSS Level 1 environment.
We perform standard anti-fraud and Know-Your-Customer checks on high-value and cross-border orders. We may request proof of address, company registration or a signed mandate before releasing industrial platforms and heavy-lift equipment.
4. Tax invoices and VAT
Every order is issued with a compliant South African tax invoice showing our VAT registration number 4530318213 and company registration number 2020/166251/07. Provide your own VAT number at checkout if you require a VAT-inclusive breakdown for input credit.
5. Failed, reversed or disputed payments
If a payment fails, is reversed or is disputed, we will contact you before shipping. Orders funded by fraudulent or unauthorised payments are cancelled and reported to our acquirer. Chargebacks are contested with delivery proof, serial numbers, signed collection notes and flight-log records.
